Pat Nolan

Pat Nolan is a member of the Karman Space & Defense Advisory Board. He has been the principal of his Aerospace and Defense Consulting business since January 2022, following his retirement as Vice President of Northrop Grumman Defense Systems’ Missile Products Business Unit in January 2021.

With over 30 years in the defense industry, Nolan’s tenure included key roles at Orbital ATK and its predecessor companies, overseeing the development and production of tactical rocket motors, warheads, and weapon components. Nolan’s extensive contributions extend to industry representation, where he participated in committees such as the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) procurement and finance committee. A graduate of Frostburg State University with degrees in finance and business administration, Nolan also completed the Mahler Advanced Management Program for Executives and holds certification as a Project Management Professional.
