Jamie Neidert

Dr. Jamie B. Neidert is a member of the Karman Space & Defense Advisory Board. He is a distinguished Research Scientist at CCDC AvMC with a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from Vanderbilt University. Based in Huntsville, AL, Dr. Neidert has been driving innovation in propulsion technologies since 2003.
Dr. Neidert leads the Propulsion Team on the TARDIS effort and serves as the Principal Investigator for several high-impact projects, including the OSD ARAP Enhanced Energetic Effects (EEE) project. His expertise extends to supporting various defense initiatives, including MDA’s Israeli program energetics and RCCTO Hypersonics (AHPO) in energetics.
With over three decades of experience, Dr. Neidert has garnered numerous accolades, including the Civilian Service Achievement Medal and JANNAF Fellowship. He is an Acquisition Level III Certified professional and has served on multiple technical committees, contributing significantly to the advancement of the field.
Dr. Neidert’s extensive publication record showcases his commitment to advancing the understanding of energetic materials and propulsion systems. His research has been instrumental in shaping the direction of defense technology development, making him a respected figure in the field.
