Charlie Jensen

Charlie Jensen serves as the General Manager of the Decatur site in Alabama. In this role he leads the execution of strategic growth initiatives, manages all facets of production, and drives operational excellence.

Mr. Jensen has over 20 years of energetic systems development and research, and program management experience including launch and energetic separation devices. He joined Systima Technologies in March 2017 as a project engineer with the Defense Systems team. The majority of Mr. Jensen’s work experience spanned 12 years with Sandia National Laboratories where he worked primarily in Nuclear Counter Terrorism/Proliferation and Nuclear Stockpile Stewardship programs.  In these programs, he acted as project manager and lead test engineer for thousands of energetic tests which provided exposure to cutting edge high-speed diagnostic and testing techniques. Mr. Jensen has also worked with a number of Explosive Ordinance Disposal and breaching teams across the DOD and DOJ to characterize the performance of the energetic tools.

Mr. Jensen holds a B.S., Electronics Engineering Technology, from the Oregon Institute of Technology, and an M.S., in Electrical Engineering, from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology.
