Kara King

Kara King is Chief Human Resources Officer of Karman Space & Defense, where she leads the company’s human capital strategy, talent management, organizational effectiveness, and culture initiatives. With more than two decades of human resources and business leadership experience, King brings expertise in growth, transformation and operational excellence to complex, high-performance organizations.

Prior to joining Karman, King served as Vice President of Human Resources supporting Lockheed Martin’s Rotary & Mission Systems business, where she led key HR functions supporting 35,000 employees. Throughout her career, she has guided talent development, workforce planning, organizational design, and large-scale change initiatives, working in close partnership with senior leadership to align people strategies with business objectives.

Kara holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science from Texas Christian University.
