Jonathan Beaudoin

Jonathan Beaudoin is President of Systima, a division of Karman Space & Defense. Mr. Beaudoin has over 15 years of aerospace engineering experience. He is responsible for leading programs and product development for Systima’s most critical technologies, including those for NASA platforms, Vulcan, MDA, Griffin and ARRW and is a subject matter expert on products across the company. Mr. Beaudoin advanced professionally through a series of progressive leadership roles at Systima including, Vice President of Engineering, Engineering IPT Lead and Program Manager. Prior to joining Systima, he previously served as a Stress Analyst at Boeing working on the P-8A Poseidon.

Mr. Beaudoin obtained a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical & Astronautical Engineering from University of Washington in 2006. Additionally, he received a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from University of Washington in 2014.


Tony Koblinski

Tony Koblinski is Chief Executive Officer of Karman Space & Defense (Karman) since 2021. He is responsible for defining the company’s vision and leading the strategic direction and growth of the company. Mr. Koblinski’s holds over 25+ years of extensive expertise in building integrated systems and processes, enabling Karman’s divisions to exceed our customers’ expectations.

Mr. Koblinski previously served as President/CEO of Madison-Kipp Corporation from September 2011 to November 2020. Before joining Madison-Kipp, he previously had a leading role as National Vice President of Homebuilding Operations at Pulte Homes in 2007. Additionally, he served as Vice President of Operations for Bombardier Recreational Products in 2002. He began his career as Plant Manager for Saturn Corporation where he rose to Executive Director of Production Control at General Motors in 1998.

Mr. Koblinski obtained his Master of Business Administration - Operations from University of Michigan in 1985. Additionally, he received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Central Michigan University in 1982.


Mark Mahboubi

Mark Mahboubi is President of Aerospace Engineering Corp. (AEC), a division of Karman Space & Defense. Mr. Mahboubi has over 30 years of experience in design engineering and advanced manufacturing technologies in the aerospace, defense, energy, and space markets. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and is a registered professional engineer in California, reaffirming a strong foundation that has enhanced his extensive knowledge and experience in operational growth, team building, new product development, lean manufacturing, significant EBIDTA improvement, full P&L business, and M&A.

Prior to joining AEC, Mr. Mahboubi was employed at R&B Machine “A BrightWater Partners Company”, STADCO, and Senior Aerospace - SSP Division, with his last 2 roles as President/CEO. He is also a member of Advisory and Development Council of California State University Long Beach, Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department.


Norm Christensen

Norm Christensen serves as a Strategic Advisor for Karman Space & Defense (Karman). Mr. Christensen is responsible for the overall operations, as well as vision, direction, and strategic business decisions. He brings over three decades of experience in aerospace & defense M&A, organization building, product development, and production manufacturing. Additionally, Mr. Christensen is highly recognized for his extensive expertise in high-temperature ablative and structural composites for mission-critical missile, space and hypersonic propulsion systems, as well as other areas of a system requiring thermal protection.

Mr. Christensen assisted with the initial formation of Karman and in December of 2020, AAE proudly joined the team. “Karman brings together an already trusted group of best-in-class suppliers with proven track records, capable of delivering “tip to tail” end-item content to our customers. This powerful approach also allows us to leverage our small business agility and responsiveness using Karman’s large business resources of facilities, equipment and more than 800 skilled team members.” commented Mr. Christensen.
Mr. Christensen is a member of the Karman Board of Directors.


Michael Riley, Mike Riley AMRO Karman Space & Defense

Mike Riley

Michael "Mike" Riley is President of AMRO, a division of Karman Space & Defense.  Mr. Riley is responsible for executing strategic growth plans and ensuring operational excellence.  He has been involved with the development and production of all SLS Rocket and Orion Spacecraft hardware since the inception of the programs.  Additionally, he has spent significant time working government affairs initiatives and building key relationships on Capitol Hill.  Mr. Riley has made it a point to foster these relationships and ensure that elected officials understand the importance of our nation's space programs and how they impact the economy, workforce and our national security.

 

Prior to Karman Space & Defense’s acquisition of AMRO in 2020, Mr. Riley served as the Chief Executive Officer for AMRO since 2017.  Mr. Riley is a third-generation member of the AMRO family and grew up in the aerospace manufacturing world.  He began his career after graduating from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2007. He progressed through various leadership roles including, Program Manager and Director of Space Flight Hardware.

 

Mr. Riley is an active member of Young President’s Organization “YPO".
