Harbour Pointe Tech Center, at 6500 Harbour Heights Parkway S.W. in Mukilteo , WA
KIRKLAND, WA – September 30, 2020 – Systima Technologies, Inc. (Kirkland, WA) is proud to announce the purchase of the Harbour Pointe Tech Center, at 6500 Harbour Heights Parkway S.W. in Mukilteo, WA. Developed in 1984-1986, the crescent-shaped office and manufacturing building has over 330,000 square feet and overlooks Puget Sound. Prior tenants have included Boeing, Honeywell and Raytheon. Originally designed and built for Torpedo Manufacturing and Test.
Systima selected this facility to support fast-paced growth and retain engineering, test and production at a single location.
Systima’s president Tom Prenzlow commented, “Strategically the co-location of our team, R&D, test and aerospace production is important to maintain agility and responsiveness. This vertical approach results in lower costs and shorter lead times for our customers. It supports our mission to provide the most advanced technologies that enable our military and the exploration of land, sea and space.”
Systima is one of the only companies in the world that can integrate energetic and mechanical systems into the structure design and provide a turnkey system solution. Energetic systems utilize energetic materials such as propellants to do work. Examples include separation and deployment systems. This approach can be applied to the most demanding applications including launch vehicles and hypersonic platforms.
One of the fastest growing product lines for Systima is high-performance composite structures using high-temperature materials for missile and launch platforms. Systima employs the most advanced composite manufacturing techniques and utilizes novel and proven resin formulations, fibers and ply materials. Systima capabilities include the design of new products to specification and the production of build-to-print parts.
